The Alaskan Malamute & Siberian Husky Social Club of Queensland is a group of people with a common interest in the Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky breeds. Our membership includes breeders and pet-owners from all walks of life. The club has a strong focus on social activities and promoting responsible pet ownership, as well as improving the breed standards.
The club was initially formed in 1994 as the Alaskan Malamute Social Club of Queensland with an initial membership of 10, a few of whom are still current members today. In 2007 the club voted to include Siberian Husky owners as full members, and to change the name of the club to the Alaskan Malamute & Siberian Husky Social Club of Queensland.
You may have seen us around at Pet Expo events in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Feel free to drop in to any advertised event and say hi.
